Finally I have my Hero T-shirt! I am so happy! I was supposed to have gotten this yesterday but then I had no ride going to Home Depot. I said to myself maybe I’ll just drive since it’s not that far away from home but I got scared because I’m not very confident about my driving skills. So I thought I’ll just get the shirt tomorrow when the driver is here. Then tomorrow came (which happens to be today) and it turns out my sister already booked the driver again. I told myself fine I will just drive so that I can claim my shirt. But surprise!!!! The car left at the garage happens to be “defective” for now and since my sister dragged the working car with her, I have no options left again. Actually I do have an option and that is just to commute. It’s not actually a problem but with the kind of weather here in Manila, commuting will be a problem. I thought maybe I should just claim the shirt tomorrow Saturday but I heard in the news that Typhoon Lupit is about to enter the RP area of responsibility by tonight. Knowing that the typhoon could be “malupit” come Saturday I chose to just claim the shirt today. The weather was very uncooperative today. It was raining hard and while that was happening I had to wait for a tricycle and transfer to the jeep on my way to Alabang Home Depot. It was such a hassle. Good thing I just wore shorts and slippers because it would have been harder for me if I had worn pants and sneakers. I had to brace the cruel weather all for the love of this shirt. This shirt is worth it for me. I love statement shirts. Portion of the sale from these shirts will go to the victims of the typhoon.
From Alabang Home Depot, I then headed to ATC. It was still raining by the way. I decided to just stay there until the rain subsides so that I won’t have a hard time going home. I watched Red Cliff! It’s the period film by John Woo starring Asian superstars Tony Leung, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Chang Chen, and Zhou Wei. I will write another blog for Red Cliff because the Hero shirt is the superstar of this blog entry. Zai Jian!
